Clinical Exercise Physiologist | B. Clin Ex.Phys ESSAM, AEP AES
“I grew up with a strong, positive connection to exercise, sport, nutrition, and overall health. At the same time, I recognise that this experience isn’t the same for everyone. I believe that our health is one of our most valuable assets and deserves to be prioritised and supported, and I love that my role allows me to help people recognise this through the power of exercise. I value the importance of providing my clients with the education and guidance needed to achieve meaningful outcomes while celebrating both the big milestones and the small wins along the way.”

Mathison graduated from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2021. She has experience working in private practice and multidisciplinary teams, with a strong background in musculoskeletal and chronic disease management, and a particular interest in osteoporosis and diabetes.

She has completed a multitude of up-skilling in Clinical Pilates across both mat and equipment-based modalities.

Mathison values the variety of clients she works with and the genuine rapport developed through ongoing support. She believes that exercise prescription should never be one-size-fits-all and focuses on creating individualised plans that are safe, relevant, achievable, and enjoyable, supporting the development of sustainable, long-term habits.

Outside of work, Mathison enjoys attending Fitstop sessions, going for weekend walks with her dog George, and taking road trips to Toowoomba and the Sunshine Coast to visit friends and family. She is also an avid Broncos supporter.
