I always knew I wanted to work in sport or health and really have an impact on people’s lives. Since joining Bodytrack in 2014 I’ve been able to make that impact with the environment we’ve created, the relationships I’ve developed with clients and the opportunity I get to promote our amazing team of Exercise Physiologists. Everyday I get to see the way that exercise and the Bodytrack team have changed people’s lives!
Tara graduated from a Bachelor of Science (Honours) at the University of Queensland in 2013 after completing studies in Exercise Science and Psychology. Tara worked at Bodytrack as a Client Concierge while completing her studies and subsequently took on the role of Practice Manager. In 2020 Tara was named as the General Manager and now uses her strengths in strategy and business management to oversee Bodytrack operations and growth. Tara values her relationships with clients and the community and thrives on creating opportunities for the Bodytrack team to realise and reach their potential as industry leaders.
Tara has a long standing involvement in sport, predominantly with rowing, having competed and coached for more than ten years. She has coordinated a number of athlete and physical activity programs, which sparked her interest and understanding of the practical and business aspects of sport and exercise. Tara’s work in marketing started in advertising sport and recreational programs and has since broadened into a passion for health and exercise promotion. Tara’s experience and studies are the foundation for her understanding that a personalised, welcoming, and motivating environment is vitally important in creating the opportunity for physical well being.
