I chose to study exercise physiology after developing an interest in the human body through my involvement as both an athlete and coach in my chosen sports of Rugby Union and Cricket. An exercise physiologist also assisted me with successful rehabilitation following a knee injury further sparking my interest in the profession. My degree taught me that exercise can improve the health and lives of everyone no matter their age, conditions or lifestyle.

Patrick also has experience working in strength and conditioning through his involvement with the West’s Premier Colts Rugby Union team throughout the 2018 season.

He also enjoys seeing the positive impact targeted exercise prescription can have for conditions such as obesity, T2DM, osteoporosis and for musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
