Sport Specific Strength & Conditioning

Correct muscle patterning, strength and fitness are key components for a person to increase performance and prevent injury in sport. Bodytrack has been influential in helping athletes perform at the top level of their sport.

The team at Bodytrack have been fortunate enough to be involved in a wide variety of sports at a high level. Adding to these personal experiences is the education gained at University level, providing further insight into biomechanical analysis, specific conditioning and training advice.

Our Exercise Physiologists create individual sport-specific programs which focus on developing more efficient motor control and biomechanics. Each program is progressive and designed to adapt with an athletes outside training regime and is based on their individual goals. Bodytrack staff will discuss training regimes and goals with the athlete and anyone involved in the coaching team.

The Bodytrack Philosophy

We strive to achieve protection from injury through stability and activity specific strengthening. Through injury prevention, athletes can continue training at a high level for longer times through the year and their career.

Ensuring stabilising muscles are working appropriately allows the bigger, stronger muscles to do their job with less effort and also optimises the loading of joints, further preventing injury. Without the interruption of injuries and fascilitating muscles to act to their best, our athletes begin to make physical gains like never before!
