Bone & Balance Training

As we age, our bodies lose the strength in the muscles and bones. We start to lose proprioception which causes us to lose our balance.  These issues result in a range of problems from falls, bone fractures to loss of confidence.

Exercise and Healthy Ageing

Current research shows that daily exercise involving strength, flexibility and aerobic fitness can improve muscle strength, slow bone degeneration, and significantly reduce the rate of falls which often contribute to lower quality of life.

Our Exercise Physiologists design programs that specifically target balance and overall body strenght through a combination of weight and non-weight bearing exercises. As research into the benefits of exercise on ageing bodies grows, 50 really can be the new 40; 60 the new 50; even 80 the new 65!
