Samuel Donaldson (Ba Apply Sci (HMS) ESSAM AEP)

Sam

Sam completed his degree in Exercise Science at the University of Queensland in 2009. Having spent most of his life kicking a soccer ball, he has had a lasting passion for sport and exercise. Qualifying for state championships in athletic events and playing for top Brisbane soccer clubs, Sam continues to enjoy a sporting lifestyle with bodytrack.

Sam maintains a professional interest in the rehabilitation and maintenance of musculoskeletal injuries. He has worked with a variety of bone, muscle and ligament injuries as well as joint instabilities and some chronic health conditions such as diabetes, osteoporosis and heart disease. Sam defines Exercise Physiology as the study of the human body, utilising the benefits of exercise to enhance one's ability to manipulate the physical environment in which they live. He carries this belief in to his knowledge of exercise prescription; 'with a proper program and appropriate exercise progressions any individual can benefit.' This allows his clients to see improvements in their overall health and ability to perform daily tasks, pushing beyond expectations.
